The Budget Export Wizard serves a dual purpose. It is the last step before the activation of budgets in Colleague, and its first purpose is to provide documentation for what is about to be imported, as well as an easy way to verify that all transactions are in balance.
Its second purpose is to generate a .prn file, which is recognized by Colleague. This file can be used to import all final budgets into Colleague.
