By using the quarterly estimates feature in Clarity, institutions have an opportunity to poll all budget managers and ask that each estimate the amount of money that is projected to be spent from every account.
As an institution, this exercise can provide additional introspection into how each budget manager is operating their set of accounts, and it can help draw attention to which offices may benefit from additional training.
The process grants leadership with better insight into how the institution is leveraging its funds, as well as lending itself to introducing potential procurement strategies or recapturing of unused funds.
