Each user that has been added to the system needs to have a security class (or group of classes) associated with that user.
Access to Clarity is administered through the Manage Users feature, which can be found by navigating to Admin > Edit User Permissions from the main navigation.

Institutions have the option to implement Clarity using the default Clarity security structure, or if available, the security classes within Colleague. (Integrating the security class hierarchy from Colleague can be addressed during the initial setup.)
Clarity also allows for administrators to define local passwords or rely on the institution's authentication structure.
