In Clarity, budget managers have the ability to combine multiple account patterns with a persistent search.
Since every account number has a pattern (i.e. all athletic departments may start with '56-023'), we developed Clarity with pattern matching in mind.
Clarity allows you to combine as many patterns as you wish to see, and then combine those patterns by adding each to a persistent search. During the initial setup, FundFive will work with institutions to define the account patterns used in Colleague. For example, the Persistent Search fields below mimic an account pattern as follows:
- F: Fund
- P: Purpose
- V: Vocation
- O: Object
- U: Unit
Once you have filtered down the accounts and level of detail needed, be sure to use the Saved Reports feature.
