# Account Display Patterns

## Define how accounts are displayed based on Colleague settings

Each Colleague institution has its own GL definitions based on the roster of accounts that have been created over time. The Account Display Pattern setting enables an administrator to define the breakdown of an account.

**Where Can I Find This?**

Locate the [System Settings](https://kb.fundfive.com/knowledge/clarity/system-settings?hsLang=en) on the General tab under Admin \> Settings.

 

*Note: System configuration settings are specific to each institution, and so each implementation will contain documentation within its instance of Clarity containing the details about how Clarity has been deployed.*
