# Calculated Budget Settings

## Define how budgets are calculated and displayed

The use of Calculated Budgets is an institution choice. If an institution wishes to display calculated budgets (i.e. the use of a calculated budget in Clarity vs the budget in Colleague), there are a few settings that can be adjusted.

- Calculated Budget Settings
- Use Calculated Budgets
- Inherit Raw Budgets

 

**Where Can I Find This?**

Locate the Calculated Budget Settings on the General tab under Admin \> Settings.
