This view was created specifically to make the tasks associated with the Budget Manager more efficient. Why start with a question when the data can tell a story?
The Budget Manager View is the main window in Clarity. It displays summary information for all accounts to which you have access. The majority of the main functions in this window are available within the navigation bar, including Quick Search, Persistent Search, and Clear function.
Enter a complete or partial account number in the Quick Search box and click on GO to quickly see an account or group of accounts in the screen.
The Persistent Search box works in a similar fashion, but it will open a new bar below the navigation bar to show your account selection, and then it will save it as the default account display until you explicitly click on the CLEAR! button (or log off). If you would like to see how a subset of your accounts totals up across different fiscal years, a Persistent Search will allow for quick comparison.
Tip: Once you have crafted the perfect search filters, be sure to create a Saved Report with the format.
