Budget Entry Settings

Configuration specific to budget entry can be managed within Admin > Settings under General

In the Budget Entry Settings section under General, an institution can make adjustments to settings related to what budget managers will see in the Budget Entry window. 

The following settings are available: 

  • Budget Entry Label
  • Budget Base Year
  • Budget Entry Account Patterns
  • Budget Editing Not Available Message
  • Prior Year Actuals in Budget Screens
  • Prior Year Actuals Base Year
  • Enable Budget Backup Feature

Each new fiscal year will require that a system administrator make minor configuration changes to Clarity. Specifically, the Budget Entry Label, Budget Base Year, and Prior Year Actuals Base Year.

Locate the Budget Entry Settings on the General tab under Admin > Settings.
