Transfer Requests

Clarity allows end users to request budget transfers throughout the fiscal year, replacing legacy paper processes and email chains with auditable controls.

Transfer Requests allow end users to request changes to their existing budget, initiating the process to move or shift funds between two accounts.

For accounts that an individual oversees, full account details are available (including budget and year-to-date actuals). For all other accounts, only a limited view of account information if displayed (target or source GL and description).


Approvals

Once a request has been submitted, the next approver in the approval chain will receive an alert within Clarity, alerting the individual that there are outstanding transfer requests available for review. Email notifications are also available, given that end users have completed their profile (see End User Profiles). 

Requests appear under Outstanding Requests, and an approver will be able to review and take the appropriate action for each request entered.

Where Can I Find This?

Locate Transfer Requests under the Budgeting menu on the Budget Manager View.
