Clarity makes it simple for an end user to cut and paste information about how one plans to allocate upcoming budget by quarter
When we say, "Simple," we mean simple. Quarterly Estimates are designed to help an institution anticipate future spending by account, based on the estimates provided by its budget managers. On a quarterly basis, end users and budget managers can simply copy and paste information into Clarity, which alerts administration about how one plans to spend money over the remaining fiscal year. This feature also enables an institution to reclaim any funds that may have been over allocated initially or no longer needed (as often plans change).
To import quarterly estimates, select the target quarter and paste them below using the following format:
account ‹space› value
Example: 12345670988 23000
Clarity will then analyze the account number(s) provided to ensure that the account(s) can be located.
If an account is located, the account number and the current balance (if available) will be displayed under the Verified column on the left. If an account is located but lacks activity in the current fiscal year, it will be displayed under the Found But Not Verified column on the right.
If an account is not found, an error will be displayed.
Where Can I Find This?
Locate Import Quarterly Estimates under the Tools section of the Budgeting menu on the Budget Manager View.
